Mr Julius Teng.
ITE COLLEGE EAST
PASSENGER SERVICE DEPARTMENT
Mr Julius Teng began serving as the Principal-in-charge of the ITE College West Symphonic Band, West Symphonia in early 2015. Being at its infancy, the task to procure sufficient instruments, recruit members, grow the band and to help find avenue to perform was immense. He took on this task without hesitation after realising the dire state of the band and drove it to where it is today.
His deep rooted passion for the symphonic band can be traced to his background as a flautist back in his secondary school days all the way till he was enlisted into the Singapore Armed Forces which he served at the Singapore Armed Forces Band as a Military Musician. Mr Teng continues to share his passion for performing arts by playing his flute with the students at West Symphonia.
